Per-word editing starts at .10 USD per word for shorter works or books over 50K words. Copyediting is available for all types of writing.
Developmental Editing
Sometimes, even the best writing can start to move off the rails. A good developmental edit will help ensure that the plot of the work is sound, the characters well-developed, and the overall story-telling structure works. Rates for developmental editing a book or ebook of around 50K words start at $700 USD. Developmental editing is best suited to fiction and non-fiction works.
